Our approach to wine
The beauty of the American AVA is something that others often overlook. Essentially, it refers to crossing state lines to source great wines. We cross those lines intentionally because we believe it is the best way to create extraordinary wine. With our founding partner, Ron Penner-Ash at the helm, we believe our sourcing approach is a more dynamic experience and creates unexpected beauty. We can balance the immense diversity of California wines with some of the crisp balance of the Pacific Northwest. We expand our palette and assemble our wines with exploration in mind. The combination of a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir with a Yakima Valley Syrah grape makes us excited to hop in our bus and head out on a road trip.
Our approach is to always build a balanced taste profile. The first to be intentionally created for a can and it’s specific needs. They are off-dry and fruit-forward with an expansive palette. They finish clean and are ready-to-travel. Our cans work best slightly chilled, including the reds. We take this idea as seriously as we do the future of wine-making and heading out on our next adventure.
